- Credit packs add usage credits, not stored-object capacity or connected mailboxes.
- Buy packs from billing settings. Automatic top-up is optional.
- Plan credits are used before purchased credits. Purchased credit packs do not expire.

## Cost examples

- YouSpot Free with 50 credits used in a billing period: $0 subscription, no credit pack needed.
- YouSpot Free with 150 credits used in a billing period: $0 subscription plus one $1 credit pack, $1 total.
- YouSpot Pro with 1,200 credits used in a billing period: $10 subscription plus two $1 credit packs, $12 total.
- Examples assume the regular monthly allowance, no promotional discount, no previously purchased credit balance, and automatic top-up turned off. Paid examples exclude the free trial.

## What a credit is

A credit is one unit of metered work:

- A billable chat message costs 1 credit. A failed reply, or a turn in which every attempted tool fails, is not billed.
- A successful metered app run costs 1 credit. A failed run is not billed.
- When MCP metering is enabled for a member, a successful tool call that starts a new question group costs 1 credit. Later calls within that group are not charged again. A pause or the group action limit starts a new group.
- MCP question groups can include read tools. Charging does not depend on whether a tool reaches a model.

Browsing your stored data in the app is free. The documentation MCP server, sandbox, public directory, discovery documents, and product MCP initialize and tools/list requests do not spend member credits.

Plan credits reset each billing period and do not roll over. Purchased credit packs do not expire. If your balance runs out, add credits or wait for the next plan allowance; automatic top-up can buy more credits when enabled. Your stored data is not deleted.

## Limits

- Objects (contacts, companies, notes, files): 100,000 on YouSpot Free, 1,000,000 on YouSpot Pro.
- Connected mailboxes: 1 on YouSpot Free, 3 on YouSpot Pro.
- Credits: 50 credits/month on YouSpot Free, 1,000 credits/month on YouSpot Pro.
- Models: YouSpot Free runs on Auto, a model picked for you. YouSpot Pro adds your pick of OpenAI, Anthropic and Gemini models.
- Seats: one person on every plan. There is no team plan and no per-seat charge.
- Anonymous API and MCP calls are rate limited per address; the headers that declare the budget are documented at [/docs/versioning](https://youspot.com/docs/versioning).

## For agents and developers

- The MCP server, the HTTP API and the OAuth server are included in both plans at no extra cost. There is no separate API tier and no per-call charge beyond credits.
- No credential is needed to read the [documentation MCP server](https://youspot.com/mcp/docs), the [sandbox](https://youspot.com/sandbox), the public directory, or any discovery document. Those are free to anyone, with no account.
- Product MCP tool calls require member authorization. When metering is enabled for that member, calls spend credits by question group, including groups that only read data.
- Rate limits and the headers that declare them are documented at [/docs/versioning](https://youspot.com/docs/versioning).
- YouSpot Free is the self-serve $0 plan every new account starts on, with 50 credits/month and no trial period. The [30-day Pro trial](https://youspot.com/pricing/freetrial) requires a card and renews at $10/month unless cancelled. There is no annual discount.

## Billing

- Billed monthly in US dollars.
- Change plans from billing settings. An upgrade to YouSpot Pro is immediate; cancelling takes effect at the end of the current period and returns the account to YouSpot Free.
- Cancel any time from billing settings. There is no contract and no cancellation fee.
- Your data stays readable and exportable after cancelling.

## What is not offered

- No annual plan and no annual discount. Both plans are billed monthly.
- No per-seat pricing and no team or enterprise tier. One account is one person.
- No separate API or MCP subscription. Both are included in both plans.
- No per-call charge for the HTTP API or the MCP server beyond the credits above.
- No free trial on YouSpot Free: it is $0 a month for as long as you want it, and the 30-day trial is Pro's.
- No usage-based overage billed after the fact. When credits run out, metered work stops until you add more or the plan allowance resets.

## Currency, taxes and payment

- Every price on this page is in US dollars.
- Subscription fees are in addition to any applicable taxes, as stated in section 1.2.1 of the [Terms of Use](https://youspot.com/terms).
- Payment is by card at checkout, handled by Stripe. YouSpot never sees the card number.
- Subscriptions renew monthly on the day you started, until cancelled.

## Buying as an agent

- An agent cannot complete a purchase today. [POST /checkout_sessions](https://youspot.com/checkout_sessions) speaks the Agentic Commerce Protocol and answers 501 with `code: checkout_not_supported`, naming the version it speaks. A preflight OPTIONS returns 204.

YouSpot Free at $0 if you ask a few questions a day and connect one mailbox: no credit card, and every account starts there. YouSpot Pro at $10 a month if you want your pick of frontier models, more than 50 credits/month, several mailboxes in sync, or more than 100,000 objects.

### Is there a free plan?

### Is there a trial?

### What happens when I run out of credits?

Metered work stops until you add credits or your plan allowance resets. Automatic top-up can buy more credits when enabled. Your stored data is not deleted, and you can still browse it in the app.

### Can I change plans?

Yes, from billing settings. Moving up to YouSpot Pro takes effect immediately. Cancelling YouSpot Pro takes effect when the current period ends, so nothing already paid for is lost, and the account returns to YouSpot Free.

### Do agents pay per call?

There is no separate API subscription. When MCP metering is enabled for a member, related tool calls are grouped into questions rather than charged individually. A successful tool call that starts a new group costs 1 credit; later calls in that group are not charged again. This can include read tools and does not depend on whether a call reaches a model.

### What costs nothing?

Browsing your stored data in the app, the documentation MCP server, the sandbox, the public directory and profiles, discovery documents, and product MCP initialize and tools/list requests. Product MCP read tools can spend credits when member metering is enabled.

### How do I cancel?

From billing settings, any time. There is no contract and no cancellation fee. Your data stays readable and exportable after cancelling.
